Local Welfare Provision

We have been funded by Solihull Council to support disabled people with disability benefit claims.

We will deliver specialist benefits advice and guidance to support people of working age to claim disability related benefits, where entitled, to maximise their income where possible.

We will support people to appeal benefit decisions where there has been oversight or there is new information which changes their entitlement. We will assist people through the appeal process and representing their case, where appropriate.

As part of this service, we will support claimants who are entitled to disability related benefits to submit supporting information. This may include, for example include helping to submit medical information to relevant DWP offices.
