DIAL Solihull - Mission Statement

1) TO OFFER AN EFFICIENT, KNOWLEDGEABLE AND CONFIDENTIAL INFORMATION AND ADVICE SERVICE TO DISABLED PEOPLE AND THEIR CARERS THROUGH ALL MEDIUMS OF COMMUNICATION BY A WELL TRAINED AND WELL MANAGED STAFF, MANY OFF WHOM WILL THEMSELVES BE DISABLED AND SO BE MORE LIKELY TO HAVE AN EMPATHETIC AWARENESS OF PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES.

2) TO SUPPORT DISABLED PEOPLE THROUGH TIMES OF DIFFICULTY AND STRESS, PARTICULARLY IN THEIR DEALINGS WITH OFFICIAL BODIES AT WHATEVER LEVEL.

3) TO ADVERTISE THE SERVICE AS COMPREHENSIVELY AS POSSIBLE TO ENSURE THAT ALL THOSE WHO COULD BENEFIT ARE AWARE OF THE FULL RANGE THAT WE CAN OFFER.

4) TO DEVELOP OTHER SERVICES, SUCH AS ABILITY THROUGH COMPUTERS, TO EMPOWER DISABLED PEOPLE, LEADING THEM TO HAVE MORE FULFILLING ROLES SOCIALLY, ECONOMICALLY AND PROFESSIONALLY.
